Proclamation

We have good news to share. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message. This message needs to be spoken and explained. As we engage, understand and believe this gospel, God’s promise is that he forgives and gives us the gift of eternal life. At Mentone Baptist, the Gospel changes peoples lives and we want to share it with others so that more people can hear the greatest story the world can ever know. By proclaim we don’t only mean preaching, but speaking in all kinds of contexts and ways. Proclamation is essential for both mission (Romans 10:14-15) and for maturity (2 Tim 4:2). While our mission has a particular local focus (as this is the area where God has put us), we believe God’s mission is to the nations and so we say a big Amen to mission across Australia and to the ends of the earth.
